Current Open Jam Listing for Southern and Central Minnesota
Area 52 - Northeast Minneapolis. I've never been to this one but I've talked to people who have so I can assure you it is real. According to their website, Area 52 is a musicians cooperative that has an open jam every Friday night. There is never a cover and nothing is for sale. The link above takes you to their MySpace page which has a link address to another site with a link to a forum.
Freeway Jam - host the jam at Costello's in Stewartville which takes place every 2nd Thursday of the Month.
Group Therapy - The Whiskey Bones jams have been cancelled (????); however, look for the Group Therapy jam to start up again some place else.
Jerk Jam - This has been a fairly regular Twin Cities area open jam though they are apparently taking a sabbatical. Check out the link for the latest on this jam. NEWSFLASH!!! THE Jerk Jam continues Thursday Dec. 11th at the Blue Fox in Arden Hills.
Rookies - Apparently there is an open jam/mic that takes place every Thursday at Rookies in Rochester, though I haven't made it there yet to confirm what I've heard. There is no jam host at this one.
Ultra-Mega - A new open jam hosted at Dibbos every1st thurday of the month.

Welcome to the New Legendary Kingdoms Open Jam Page
This is the new open jam page. As with all the current Legendary Kingdoms pages you will probably see this page undergo some changes over the next few months. Not all links are up or active at this point not to mention the jam listing is obviously incomplete. I am working on this though it wouldn't hurt to send me updated information to the email at the top of this page.
And while this is a metal site, this particular page is open to local jams of all styles. Anything within a 2-3 hour drive from Rochester MN is considered local.
